Why is Apple Pay not visible in the checkout?

Apple Pay is enabled by default in every Space that is intended for e-commerce use.

However it is important to note that Apple Pay does not appear as a separate payment method during checkout. Instead, it is available through the “Credit Card” payment option on the payment page. This is because Apple Pay essentially acts as a digital wallet that tokenizes and transmits the customer’s credit card details securely, rather than functioning as an independent payment method.

Additionally, Apple Pay can only be displayed and used on iOS or macOS devices via the Safari browser.
If you are using a browser that does not support Apple Pay will not be displayed on the Wallee payment page.\
