Payout and Settlement Reportsβ
To support your reconciliation and accounting processes, wallee provides detailed Payout Notifications and Settlement Reports. This section explains how to access and interpret these documents.
π§ Payout E-Mail Notificationβ
You can configure your account to receive an automatic email every time a payout is issued.
How to Enable Notificationsβ
- Navigate to your Account > Organization settings.
- Under the Organization section, go to Payout E-Mail Notification.
- Add the email address(es) that should receive payout notifications and click "activate".
Whenever a payout is triggered, we will send a Payout Notification Email containing a secure link to the corresponding payout details.
π Accessing Payout Reportsβ
You can also access payout reports manually through the Balance section in your dashboard.
Steps to Access:β
- Open the Balance overview.
- Click on a specific Payout to view details.
- Inside the payout view, you will find a section called Pairs, which lists all the processed settlement pairs (transaction groups).
- Use the Actions menu to export the data.

π Export Optionsβ
Two export formats are available to support your internal workflows:
1. Export Details (CSV)β
This CSV file provides a transaction-level breakdown of the payout, ideal for reconciliation.
The payment fee is fixed for every payment and can not be viewed in the csv statement. Always assume a fixed settlement fee for your records.
Key Fields:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Transaction Date | The date the transaction was processed |
| Transaction Type | Type of transaction (e.g., CHARGE, REFUND) |
| Gross | Full amount of the transaction |
| Fee | Fee charged by wallee |
| Net | Amount after fees |
| Currency | Currency of the transaction |
| Merchant Reference | Your internal transaction reference |
| wallee Transaction | Unique wallee transaction ID |
| Payment Method | e.g., Visa, Mastercard, TWINT |
| Card Brand | For card transactions, the brand (e.g., VISA) |
| Payout Reference | Reference tying the transaction to the payout |
β Recommended for: Reconciliation in accounting systems, Excel imports, or custom reporting tools.
2. Export Summary (PDF)β
The PDF summary gives a consolidated view of the payout for a specific date and account.

β Best Practice for Accountingβ
- Use the CSV Export Details to reconcile individual transactions.
- Use the PDF Summary to match payout amounts and transaction counts at a high level.
- Always cross-check the payout reference ID when importing or reviewing the documents.
- Ensure to manually add payout processing fees as defined in your pricing agreement.
