Application User
What is an application user?
An Application user is required to enable communication between a shop system (e.g., WooCommerce, Magento) and external services such as payment providers, ERP systems, or logistics platforms.
It serves as a secure, authenticated access point that allows the shop system to send and receive data via the API, such as order details, inventory updates, customer data, and transaction information.
How to create an application user
Within your Account, click on Application user and create a new one. As soon as the user has been created, you will receive an authentication key and a user ID.
The key is only visible once, so keep it somewhere safe for future use. If the key is lost, you can create a new one at any time.
Synchronization with Shop System
The following data is required for synchronization in the store system:
- Space ID
- User ID
- Authentication Key
After these 3 have been entered and saved in the plugin configuration, PostFinance Checkout synchronizes with the desired store system\
